If you’re familiar with the way Four Roses makes Bourbon (and since you’re here, we’re guessing you are), you know that we are the first distillery to combine two different mashbills with five proprietary yeast strains to create 10 distinct Bourbon recipes. We then use these recipes, either individually or in blends, to achieve a limitless array a flavor profiles for Bourbon lovers like you.

For much of the past year, we have been looking at each of our 10 recipes one by one, explaining how they taste and how they contribute to the blends in which they’re found. It’s been a long, fun journey, and though it’s hard to believe, we’ve now reached our ninth and penultimate Bourbon recipe: OESQ.
